Layout Highlights
Hello everyone!!! I hope you all have had a great week. I'm so excited for DSD this weekend. I can't wait to get some good scrappin' done and snag up some goodies. I have three beautiful layouts to highlight this week that may inspire you to get some pages done. I know I what to lift them!
The first is called "island-paradise" by misfitinm. I love how she used the paper and put the cluster in the sun's path. It's fun to see things used differently and I love how she tilted the entire cluster at that the angle. The big chevron arrow is really fun too and her use of the alpha. Makes me want a vacation!
Next, is this photoless layout, "farm life" by kirstiegai. It's always fun to see photoless layouts, especially ones that work as fun pieces of art! This would look so cute in a little kids' room or even in a "country" kitchen. It's another fun way to stretch your digital stash and create your own decor.
And this little beauty if called "1 Year Older" by y_baros. I think she did a great job with all of the clustering, layering, and shadow work. It feels like the picture in the bottom right is "exploding" out of box, like a really fun present. Fantastic job!!
All of the layouts are linked so you can leave some love. Have a great week scrappin' and enjoy DSD this weekend!

Sunday Helper - Journaling in Textpaths
Hi out there,
very frosty greetings here from Germany. Last weekend we nearly had 25 degrees and today it was -2 degrees in the morning *shiver*
So, what can we better do than sitting in front of our photoshop *lol*?
Do you love journaling as much as I do? Since I'm working on my little ones photobook (I only finished his first year yet and Alex is getting 4 in december *eek*) I nearly have journaling on each page I'm doing. I love to remember what was going on when I took the pics. So photoshop has a really useful function for me (and everyone else for sure): textpaths.
It's a great way to type your journaling in a textpath. So you can define, where your journaling should be and even if you change the font or the height or your type, you don't have to go through the text and make word wraps on your own. With using a textpath, photoshop does all this automatically.
So, let's have a look at this:
I just finished my last page, only journaling is missing. There is a little space on one paper left, where I'm going to place the journaling. Now my next step is choosing my Rectangular Marquee Tool and draw a selection, whre I wanna place my journaling. After that right click in your selection and choose Create Work Path:
The next step is choosing your text tool. Choose a font you want to use and leftclick in your textpath area. Now you can start journaling:
You don't like your font or size? Just choose another one, your text will fit to this:
I hope you liked this weeks sunday helper. See you soon.

Fabulous Paper Flowers and Buttons
I have another fabulous set of Paper Flowers. I just cannot get enough of Paper Flowers for kits. I have a few more packs to extract and I cannot wait to finish them so I can add them into some kits.
I love my flowers so much that I offer them for you to use in your kits and projects too. I always leave them naturally colored. And they are HUGE! Most of my flowers are 4 inches or larger at 300 ppi. Also, to go along with all the fun flowers are some Fabric Buttons.
They were created by the talented Dee Signing Crafts and are photographed and extraced by myself. They are quality checked for strays, blurryness and jaggies. They are gorgeous flowers and perfect for any Digital Project. You can get them for 20% off this week only in my shop.
Have a wonderful weekend. I will see you next weekend for Digital Scrapbook Day! We will have some amazing sales, specials and games.

Sneak Peek
Hi everyone! I hope your enjoying your Wednesday. We've had our first snow here-I can't believe it! It's made me want to do nothing but stay inside with some apple cider, snuggling my kiddos, and sneaking away to scrap. At least that's the ideal in my head :)
This week, Cheri's whipped up some great CU products. And stay tuned for next week as we gear up for DSD!!! I'm so excited.

Layout Hightlights
Welcome to our Tuesday Layout Highlights!
This week I totally fell in love with this wonderful LO made by kirstiegai called "Farm life". I absolutely adore how she created this wonderful page just without any pics. It's such a great farm live scene, wow!
She used Cheri's wonderful County Bounty Kit:
The second page I wanna show you this week caught my eye because of the bright colors and the wonderful titlework. Love how HeatherKate arranged the "Big Girl Bike" title with all the different alphas:
She used the Girls On Wheels Bundle by Dream Big Designs:
Hope you enjoyed this weeks Layout Highlights as much as I did.

Birthday Bliss, Sale and a Freebie
I have been wanting to do a Birthday kit for FOREVER. I have never done one and I really felt like it was time. Plus, Fall is when all three of my babies were born, so what a perfect time for all my invitations and Party Supplies.
Also, at Scrap Orchard we are having a CU Grab and Go Sale for all those last minute CU items you need before DSD. Are you ready? Gosh, I know that I am not....maybe I better go check that sale out too. ;)
I created two different Birthday kits for Boys and Girls. I don't like my Boy kits to look girly and I like a little frill with my girl stuff. So, I have Party Shop Boy or Girl Collections in my shop on sale this week.
Some amazing eye candy my Dream Team came up with. (Luv you girls!!!!)
And now for your freebie... It is some darling Word Art to go with both collections. I also have another freebie in my newsletter and in the Scrap Orchard forum. BUT, you can get all the freebies together when you buy the bundle. (They are already included in the Bundle downloads. So you don't have to go searching all around for them.) I like to make it easy for ya!
* All freebie links are available for 1 month only. Thank you.
Have a fabulous weekend! Cheers.
