Hope you enjoyed a long holiday weekend! It's September and time to start thinking about crisp Fall weather heading our way. It's always refreshing when the temperatures start cooling down. Well, it's Tuesday and that usually means a day for layout highlights. We spend so much time digitally creating on our computers that we can sometimes forget that you can print out all these digital supplies and create amazing hybrid projects. So today, I'm dedicating this post to some awesome hybrid projects I've found using Cheri's Dream Big Designs kits.
Remember the days when you had to go to the store and actually purchase papers, stickers, ribbons and adhesives? It was lots of fun cutting things out and gluing them together. Messy, but fun! Sometimes I miss those days. Take a look at these fabulous hybrid projects, maybe they might inspire you to get out your scissors once again!
The first thing that always comes to my mind about hybrid projects is to make birthday cards and invitations. With such a variety of digital kits available, you can make cards for Halloween, weddings, birthdays, BBQs, picnics and so many more occasions. Here's a fabulous pool party invitation called party invite by froggie.
Check out this gorgeous flower pot favor box by WendyBird. The large flower is stunning and makes for a beautiful decoration for the front of the favor box.
For kids parties, you can always try this birthday bag by ta_merkins. Kids love goodie bags when they are decorated with their birthday theme.
Take a look at this cool candy dispenser by scrappycath. I wish I had this idea for my son's pirate party! This looks so fun!
And while you are decorating the house for a birthday party, check out this this idea for a princess chair by majula. What little girl wouldn't want to hop up onto this chair to celebrate their special day?
Because I have boys, these were my favorite project. It's called Totally Wild Jokes by Livelys. You can put these inside your kid's lunch box for a fun surprise and a quick laugh while they are eating their lunch in the school cafeteria.
All of these project images are linked to the gallery so that you can see all the credits. Maybe some of these ideas might give you some inspiration to make a card, invitation, party bag or lunch box notes. I'm sure your kids would love them! Keep loading those layouts and projects into the Dream Big Designs gallery. We love to see your creations!
